Shubhra Leasing Finance and Investment Company Limited was incorporated in 1983 under the Companies Act 1956.

The Company is engaged in the business of Financing, Trading and Investment in shares and securities.

The Main Objects clause of the company, as per Memorandum of Association, includes inter-alia to carry on the business of financing industrial enterprises, to invest buy, sell, transfer, hypothecate, deal in and dispose of any shares, stocks, stock-debentures (whether perpetual or redeemable debentures), debenture stock, securities, properties of any other company including
securities of any Government Local Authority, bonds and certificates, to receive money, lend money, deposits on interest and otherwise and to lend money, and negotiate loans with or without scrutiny to such companies, firms or persons, and on such terms as may seem expedient, and to guarantee the performance of contracts by any person, companies or firms provided that the company shall not do the any banking business, to carry on in all respective branches the business of promoters investment consultants and investment.

To act as brokers and underwriters, to secure sound investments of foreign capital in Indian undertaking, to invest in, acquire, deal in precious stones metals, articles of virtue and objects of art. To carry on the business of leasing and hire purchase basis of all types of industrial and office plant, equipment, machinery for manufacturing processing transportation and trading business and other commercial and service business. To establish branches and agencies of the company in India and elsewhere and to discontinue the same whenever necessary.

The equity shares of the Company are listed at Delhi Stock Exchange Limited, Delhi (DSE).
